after trimmed an edge of a solid, is it possible to go back merging the two trimmed edges into one only?

Hi Marco,

There is a merge command in MoI that does what you are looking for. I do not recall the original shortcut (if there is one) but you can go to Options->Shortcut Keys, add a new shortcut key and on the right field write "Merge".
