I see that using rebuild of a profile in a sweep (for instance) breaks the history... will it be so in the release 4, too?

Hi Marco, yes that will be the same in v4. History in MoI is limited, in order for history to work the original curve that was used for the sweep profile needs to be found. When you do a rebuild, you are replacing that original curve with a new rebuilt one and the original will not be found anymore for updating the sweep.

Actually it might be something that I can tune up to work with rebuild, I will take a look.

It would be great!
I figure myself starting a sweep with a series of cross section circumferences (with no orientation) and then rebuild them sculpting the final form!
