Hi Jason, I'd recommend using STEP format instead of IGES. Can you give that a try and see if it behaves better?
IGES is a much older format than STEP and has some limits in it, STEP format is generally preferable but trying different formats can be helpful if you are seeing problems.
Also if you can post or e-mail me ( moi@moi3d.com) the DXF and IGES files I might be able to give you some information on why those are not behaving well. It kind of looks like it may have converted some of the trim curves into polylines if there is any option in IGES export that says "convert trims to polylines" that may need to be unset. Some much older CAD programs only supported polylines for trimming information, that's why such an option might exist but you would not want it to be enabled.
But in any case I'd recommend trying STEP instead as your first choice.
