Hello,
i wanted to try out the trial, but unfortunately the program isn't starting.
It's just crashing every other program after 5min and thats it.

I'm on OSX Catalina 10.15.3.

Any suggestions how I could make it work or would v4 be the only solution?

Thank you

Hi voked, the current trial version, v3, is not compatible with Catalina OS and there is no way to make it work there because Apple completely removed support for 32-bit apps.

The next v4 release has undergone a major rewrite and is now 64-bit and will work fine on Catalina.

V4 is still in the process of being wrapped up, there will be one more beta release I think before it is finished. Currently v3 owners can download the v4 beta at http://moi3d.com/beta.htm .

For the v3 trial you would need to run it on Mojave or earlier to test it, it will not run on Catalina.

HI Michael,

I did download the trial version available on the website and I place the file on the applications folder. Unfortunately, the software doesn't starts. I have Mojave and I am seriously thinking to buy it as I have read that Moi works perfect to convert files from Rhino to C4D but I really would like to check first.

Is this version compatible with Mojave? is there any specific instruction to install the software that you could advise?

Thanks

Felipe

Hi Felipe, yes the version 3.2 trial is compatible with Mojave.

What happens exactly when you try to run it, is there an error message?

If it says it won't run because it's from an "unidentified developer", that's what the OS says when you try to run an app that is not digitally signed. When you encounter that you need to right-click on the app and choose "Open" from the menu. That will put the app on a white list and it will open normally after that.

If it's some other problem than that if you can please show some more detail about what happens I might be able to figure out what's going on.
