You can test Twin motion which is specialised with architecture but is beautyfull for small rendering.
It use GPU for realtime render as good as fps games. So no photorealism but very impressive.
It's a Unreal engine based software.

If you want photorealism, you can use Owlet render.
Not easy to find now, because editor's page says "Deprecated software".
A free version existed. Perhaps it could be found somewhere else...

Hi,

about Maverick Indie, while it is an easy to use Render Engine which produces nice pictures easily,
I like to point out that this is the 3rd Render Engine in a decade from Chema Guerra, the developer.

First there was Fry Render, then Arion Render and now Maverick. Keep that in mind when investing
money in Maverick Render, because the previous ones are abandoned in favor of the latest one ...

Regards
Stefan

For twinmotion 2019 go speed because it's entierely free without any limitation (can even be used as commercial image/ video)!

This before the new 2020 version!

As you must have an Epic Games account for TwinMotion, you can also use the entielely free
Megascan Quixel Bridge Mixer for any Textures / Asset 3D! ;)

The free Simlab Composer Lite (maxi 1920 *1080) is yet very cool for any headaches! :)

My vote for Cycles/Eevee.

Despite owning an Octane license, I still end up using Cycles.

thnx guys i will definitely give twinmotion a try, i was first thinking about a cheap cad/bim with a decent render, where i could built a scene, in which i would insert my furniture i designed in moi3d. Since a bim has windows doors and basics for building a scene..

You have a free bim BricsCad Shape that you can reload inside SimLab because it has no render! ;)

and also this free true gem PconPlanner who has a catalog from any manufacturers over the world by a simple Dag and Drop! ;)
it has 2 renders engine inside! (and of course many 3D inPut/output formats!)

Well that's my take, this combo of FreeCad + Luxrender, both are free:
