New Hide Icon

It may be just me, but I'm always clicking on the Boolean icon by mistake when I mean to click Hide. I guess it's the shaded gray spheres located one above the other in the side bar that gets me. When I'm engrossed in a project I flick over to the side to hide an object and find I've selected boolean instead.

My solution has been to exchange the hide icon with a new one I created that conveys the function, but looks a bit different. Thanks to Michael's generously customizable interface, it was easy to do.

I attach the new icon .png and an example of how it looks in the interface.

Anyone who finds it useful can help themselves to it. I was inspired by the late lamented 3D program, Amapi, which used a different ghost icon for its hide function.

Cheers!
Mark

Hey, that's pretty clever ! And instantly readable indeed. Personally ended up using it for both Show/Hide Curve Points and Show/Hide Objects - so with a little bit of renaming it all becomes nice and clear, without much need to use 2 distinct icons really.

It's personal matter of taste ! Design of original is more unifyed! And has the same dual signification! :)
