Hi Michael,

I really cannot remember that I changed the color of the default black line where I draw with.

It is now 69,175,207 and not black any longer. This color code I inserted in the styles, but I never changed anything in the .ini file. There I cannot find the color code. It is under unselected and selected line just black and the default yellow code.

Any idea where that code could come from? I opened in v3 and there is the same. I opened another .3dm file and it is code for black as it is supposed to be both, in v3 and v4.

Hi Axel, do you have a template file set up under Options dialog > General section > "Template file" ?

If so then the styles from that file are used as your defaults. You can either clear out the template file setting so the template file will not be used anymore, or you can open up the template file, edit the styles there, and resave it.

Hi Michael,

the field is empty so there was no template file in it. I never used a template file. Out of the sudden that lines are in that blue color code but I haven't changed anything and also the other files are fine and use black lines when drawing.

Hi Axel, what does your scene browser Styles section look like? Is there an outline around the Blue color swatch? That outline indicates the "active style" which is the one that will be used for newly drawn objects.

You can set the active style by right clicking on the color swatch of a style in the scene browser Styles section. If you right click on the black one that should then make newly drawn objects assigned to the black style.

Please let me know if that's still not it.

thanks again for your fast reply. Indeed that was the issue. Recently I group selected a color there and in that moment I guess it happened that I switched the blue color code on. I was not aware of that feature!
