Custom UI Setup For Dummies

Hi guys - this has probably been answered innumerable times before - but after following a rabbit trail of vague hints, I can find no clear instructions on how to set up the custom ui.
I downloaded it.
I extracted it.
I even put it into the Moi directory.

No results.
If I rename it 'ui' I do get a nice blank screen though :)

Are there some magic words I need to chant?

Yours in breathless anticipation

Hi Brendan, what operating system are you using and what version of MoI?

Hi Brendan, so for that version you'll need to get the file CustomUI.1.03.win.mac.zip which is an attachment on the message here:
http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=6507.1

Unzip that and you should have 3 resulting folders that were in the .zip file:

objects
snapshots
ui

These need to be copied into the MoI install folder. The MoI install folder is at C:\Program Files (x86)\MoI 3.0

So copy the objects folder over so you have a folder C:\Program Files (x86)\MoI 3.0\objects

Copy the snapshots folder over so you have a folder C:\Program Files (x86)\MoI 3.0\snapshots

Now for the UI folder - there is already a UI folder inside of MoI's regular installation so for that one go into the .zip's UI folder and copy all the contents of it into MoI's UI folder at C:\Program Files (x86)\MoI 3.0\ui . There will be a warning that one file named CommandBar.htm will be overwritten, say yes to that.

After that it should be installed.

If you're still having difficulty please show a screenshot of what your installation directory looks like.
