Hi,

See attached.

I'm looking for a model of this item that I can use in MOI.

Anyone know of such a model?

Thanks.

Frederick

Seems you have one free one here!
https://grabcad.com/library?page=2&time=all_time&sort=recent&query=lead%20screw

https://grabcad.com/library/bearing-holder-3

But i am pretty sure if you have the manufacturer's name you can find it directly !
And maybe you can use the cool free one PCON Planner who has direct catalog of manufacturers around the planet for directly download anything directly and then export as format you want!
https://pcon-planner.com it has not nurbs export (import yes Sat) but as now we can reload some OBJ format...:)
here from Moi Sat inside Pcon Planner ;)

Not made here just from GrabCad but maybe it's not a very detailed model as you wished!

Hi,

Thanks much.

I wasn't looking for a highly detailed model. A model that has the basic dimensions correct (size, mounting, etc) is just fine.

When designing a printer it helps to be able to include all of the parts to insure that everything will go together as planned.

I use McMaster-Carr to find and import models for all sorts of mechanical items; from gears to stepper motors to screws.

Go here: https://www.mcmaster.com/pillow-block-bearings

Find what you want and click on the part number. When window opens, click "Product Detail"
Scroll down to the drawing and you'll find a drop down selection box. Select: 3D Step
Click Save. The model then opens in MoI

Hi,

I enjoyed all the responses.

And good to know about McMaster-Carr.

I used them for some brass "press in" inserts but didn't take the time to see what else the have.

Thanks to all.
