I just took the plunge after 23 days of the trial.
I can't remember the last time I had that "epiphany" using a piece of software.
About a week ago, using a Surface Go tablet, with Pen, lying in bed going over some things I had learned watching some videos. Having a Surface Book 2 15" as my work system, and both a desktop and Go tablet, pen use was very important.
This software is so fluent once you understand the flow, and the speed is impressive on all levels of hardware I have used.
Being left handed, I have always had issues being as accurate using the mouse, since I use the mouse in my right hand. One of those things that comes from it being the only option in my day, like ball gloves when I was young. I throw right because there were only left handed gloves.
I was using the pen, and thought to myself "I wonder how it deals with multi finger gestures for panning and rotating?".
I am able to keep my left on the pen, right hand to the screen and two fingers to zoom in and out, as well as to pan the part.
Very cool.
What about if I use three fingers to rotate?
Wow. Works.
So I can now work with pen while using my normal mouse hand to move around the screen.
That, combined with some simple examples that helped me to learn the interface, and I realized that I had found design software that made sense to me.
I laughed out loud and my wife asked me what was so funny.
"I just realized how powerful this software is, and now realize that the only roadblock moving ahead is me." I told her.
Thank you Michael, for MoI.
I am looking forward to learning a lot more of the intricacies of your creation.
I am building a business plan right now to open a 3D printer store front in the near future on the main floor of the building I have my office.
A place for product, parts, materials, and workshops.
Maybe I will have to have MoI as something I recommend seeing what effect it had on me.
Stay tuned.....
