Hi Rudl, was it maybe some problem with an anti-virus program?

No, I had no adiministration rights. I copied the file from sd card and pasted it on the intern card and from there I could start the installation.

Hi Rudl, but not having admin rights should definitely not result in your whole computer crashing!

Something is going wrong there, some possibilities are a buggy anti-virus program, or a hardware problem like a disk starting to fail or RAM starting to fail.

Yeah, limited rights should not cause a bsod. Just be careful and save your work!

Yeah if your hard drive is pretty old it may be a good idea to get a replacement set up. Or at least make sure you've got important stuff backed up.

Hi Rudl, that may be a good idea to return it, a new machine should not give a blue screen just from opening a folder.
