Looking for some advice.
Read about MoI and like what I have seen so for.
Do a lot of the things I make using Tinkercad, and know that I do things the hard way using that program. Also have a Fusion 360 license but think that I might like the look and feel of this better.
The intent is completely 3D printer based design. Prusa Mk2S and Mk3S for FDM and have a Anycubic Photon on the way after seeing amazing results from a few people I know.
I design items for board games, that compliment, organize, etc.
Best way to learn?
Will this suit my purpose?
I do my slicing in Simplify3D and in Prusa Slicer and can import OBJ files which I understand this software does amazingly.
I have also seen the Tutorial (paid for) videos on one designers site and wonder if those are a good start, or the ones on Youtube?
Finally, for hardware I have full desktop i7 running last year top of the line video cards, tons or ram and SSD.
Also intend to use on a Surface Book 2 15" that runs a 1060 Geforce card, tons of ram, etc.
Just picked up a Surface Go, 10" running intel and 8GB, and was impressed with how smooth this ran on it. That is my only current install as I just started trying the 30 day trial.
How is this software using a pen?
Want to have one piece of software I stick with to create the things I think about in my head, and don't want an interface that I can't grasp quickly but know I need better tools than I am currently using.
Any help appreciated.
