delete edges after extending

Hi,
is there any way to delete the unnecessary edges that are created (after extrude for example)?

I mean some simple way instead of deleting whole walls and then recreating them.
Something like "dissolve" in Blender would be useful.

Thanks.

Hi Mr. Yuri, they will get deleted automatically for the case of 2 planes that are coplanar to each other, that is handled by face merging in boolean union. But other cases like 2 cylinders or 2 extrusions in line with each other are not merged by boolean union currently. I would like to make that happen in the future though.

In most cases I use transform handles or Scale1D instead of extrude to avoid that.

Just switch to a 2D view and use the transform handles.

If there are areas that I don't want to be distorted, I temporarily saparate them and then join them again.
