I always wondered if there is any difference in file handling between saving geometry (or scene) with "Export All" or "Safe As"?

Hi 3image, Export is short for "Export selected objects", do you mean if you do a "Select all" and then Export versus SaveAs ?

A couple of differences between those is that when doing a "SaveAs" to .3dm format the current filename will be set, that's the file that will be saved to if you do a plain "Save" later on rather than "Save As".

Also if saving to .3dm format SaveAs will save hidden objects also. Hidden objects won't be selected by "Select all", you'd have to show all objects before doing select all to get Export to do the same thing for this part.
