So I just purchased MOI3D & running version 3.0 Sept-18-2014.
Is this the latest version of 3 or are there more recent version's & if so, how do I upgrade ?

That is the most recent version for the Windows version of v3. On Mac the current one is v3.2 because of things getting broken on recent Mac OS versions.

You will be able to get a free upgrade to v4 when it is released.
