Drawing a Free Form curve Through Points on a future straight line between Start A & End B with Helpers Line Division Snap (say 5)

So Click on the Helper Line Div (0/5), Div (1/5), Div (2/5), Div (3/5), Div (4/5), Div (5/5) (Points are equally drawn) Right Click

When I ask Show Points on this new straight Free Form Curve: Points are re-organized!!!

Does this normal ?

Hi Pilou, you should use Draw curve > Freeform > "Control points" (not "Through points") if you want to have the curve with control points exactly as you input them.

When you use "Through points", that uses a construction method to calculate a curve that will pass through those points but the control points of that curve will be calculated and won't be the same as the input points including if they happen to all be in a straight line. That's just how an interpolated curve works.
