Extrude with predefined length ?

Hi,

I would like to set up an Extrude Command which automatically extrudes by
a predefined / default length and angle. (for example : 12° / -45mm)

How to set up the angle in the "Extrude" Command with Notepad is clear but
not how to get MOI to display a predefined Extrude length.

Another option would be to tell MOI not only to show the last used angle when
activating the Extrude command, but also the last extrude length. This way
a predefined Extrude-Setup would remain as long as MOI would not be shut down.

Help much appreciated TOM

Hi Tom, so to extrude with a predefined distance you can set the following up on a shortcut key:

extrude distanceinput=10

But right now it's not possible to do that with an additional draft angle set though since the extrude command exits as soon as a distance value has been set. I'll see what I can do about that.

Thank you Michael !

Don´t bother with it takes to much of your time, I had thougt it would be
just a short aditional line in the html file.

Just working on a series of endless objects with the same angle / length -
extrude parameters so it would be a little tiem saver to have a default
option ...

Hi Tom, one thing that could help is to use this to automate pushing the tapered button and draft angle:

extrude tapered draftangle=20

Then you would only need to type in the distance.

Also don't need to do these one by one you can select a large number of closed curves and do them all in one go of the Extrude command.
