Thanks for an interesting program!

I had some free time and I redrew all the icons in one style.
In three colors (white, black and blue) and in two sizes (64x64 pixels and 128x128 pixels).

In addition to the main icons I redrew icons for CustomUI | AddOns from Max Smirnov's MoI scripts (http://moi.maxsm.net/item/46)
To use them you need to update CustomUI assets.
I will attach files which I changed.

I can't test icons in version 4 because I use 3.2 trial version.

BACKUP ORIGINAL FILES!!!

Select size and color for the icons and put them in these folders:
64/black/ui > moi/ui
64/black/ui/icons > moi/ui/icons

BACKUP ORIGINAL FILES!!!

Extract files from the CustomUI-modified.zip archive > moi/ui/customui

Really nice work.
I started redrawing the icons myself last year, but never managed to finish all of them.

Now I don't have to :)

Hi Zooen,
Focus on where, and how, the customui icons are stored.
- Brian

Using CustomUI-modified.zip, the Path to the customUI files to substitute should be at %AppData%>Roaming>Moi>Startup. (???)
(I have not changed mine.)

I think the icons for Max's CustomUI mod are stored as embedded base64 data inside each .js file.

So you would need to edit the script files, you can find them in the moi appdata startup folder, and change the line that says:

code:
var icon = "data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUg <...large amount of base64 data ...>

to instead say:

code:
var icon = "icons/LightingPresets.png";

And then that will make the button's icon come from that PNG file in the ui\icons folder.

Many thanks Michael,
on the first try, var icon = "icons / LightingPresets.png"; did not work. then I managed to get my old neurons working. Obviously it came from the name of the file!
var icon = "icons / Lighting.png"; works

Five icons remain black, it does not exist in the Van list

(excuse me, this is google translation from French)

In notepad++, from the customui 88 SubdivTtools js file, I was able to cut out the base64 code, ( All of the code from just after ...base64, on down to just before " command="_Subdiv_beta9" ,
and paste it to the onle site:
https://codebeautify.org/base64-to-image-converter
and then download a jpg image.

I suppose an icon editor program could then make an icon,
but I do not know much about all of this.

What is a good, free, icon creator program?

Why not use Moi itself ?...

At the end use the Print Screen Key and past in any 2D prog for have your image to manage ! :)

In the free Fotosketcher for example! (by a talentuous French guy) ;)
https://fotosketcher.com

(you can resize your image in 64 * 64 pixels if you want...and some other cool things!
here the process (all take 10 seconds! ;)

Past your save Screen from the ClipBoard
Crop / reframe
Permute image
Apply an effect if necessary
Resize image 64*64
Save you image 64*64
et voila :)

here just for validate the process

Here the image.jpg from fotosketcher
you can now apply your Base 64 beautity...

so the icon will be maybe something like that or smaller/bigger following the Options/ UI size of Moi...

Thanks Brian and Pilou. I will study all this carefully, it is very interesting to customize and standardize its interface in a pleasant way.
