Nudge in 3d View ?

Hi,

I assigned the nudge vertically / horizontally script to the arrow keys.
Is there a way to use this command also within the 3D view without having
to move the cursor into an ortho-view ? This would be helpful when working within
the fully expanded 3D view without needing to switch back to the 4-windows view.

Hi Tom, it should be possible to modify the Nudge script so that it always targets the 3D view when in split mode.

There are a few different versions of Nudge though and I'm not sure which one in particular you are using. Can you please post it here and then I can modify it to behave like you want.

Hi Michael,

As I often work in full 3D view a nudging function which works within the full 3d view would be useful .
The current one I use does only work in the orthogonal views. The movements possible should be
up/down and left/right front view.

Hi Tom, I'm not sure I understand, do you mean when you have a maximized 3D view you want the same movement you get in the Front view?

Does this attached version do what you need?
