Hi, for some time now I've been wondering why in all these years I have not found applications that exported Nurbs surfaces to the OBJ format, and even Moi3d uses the OBJ format only for polygons.

Hi pafurijaz, yeah I'm not really sure why NURBS in OBJ format never caught on. It's kind of a chicken & egg problem - it takes quite a bit of work to support reading and writing to a particular format and if no other programs support it, it's hard to justify the work involved.

It just never caught on in the CAD world as a CAD model data transfer method.
