I was working with moi3d when a pop up asked for moi3d to access photos and contacts. Is this normal?

I've never heard of that before. Maybe a bug in the operating system's new permissions mechanism or do you possibly have any extensions running that add things to Finder? Those may run when you have a file dialog open.

Hi Michael,

No extensions that I know of. It may be part of the new mac OS.. just wanted to confirm that it's not part of moi3d.

Hi Gunter, MoI does access a folder in ~/Library/Application Support/Moi to store its moi.ini configuration file.

I wonder if the new OS will put up a notification for that now maybe because contacts are stored under something like ~/Library/Application Support/Address Book . Should be something for Apple to fix up I guess.
