Hi all,
i usually do relatively simple models for my company, i work with, for in house usage (3D printing),
because it is also part of my job. We also have clients which give us their 3D models for
3D printing. So far so good.
Now we have a client who brought in hand drawn construction plans, for relatively simple
CAD parts, which i have to model... (with MoI of course! :-))
Curious that i am, even if it should be not my business, how much do you charge a client
for that, when you hand out the model(s) - a) only as .stl files for 3D printing, or b) as .step
or .iges files for proper manufacturing? Or do you charge projects like this only on an hourly basis?
Any insider tips would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. If you can't or don't want to discuss this openly i would also appreciate a forum PM!
Regards
Stefan
