Background Image Rotate

Hi folks!

I'm wondering if there's a way to set the degrees rotated in image mode. Check out the attached image.

What I want to do is rotate the image so that the grip of the rifle is vertical. I know the exact number of degrees it needs to be rotated, but I can't type a value into the 'Angle' field. And I haven't yet been able to do it manually after many attempts.

Is there a nifty trick that I've overlooked, or maybe a script I could install?

Hi propmaster, while you are in the View > Image command you can use the Align option to do that. That allows you position and scale a background image from one reference line in the image to a target reference line in the model.

For your case before doing the Align set up 2 lines of the same length with one rotated by your desired angle and then snap on to the ends of those lines while doing the image align.

Excellent! Thank You!

BTW, the Aug. 28 beta is amazing. Moi3D has been my favorite 3D software for years by a wide margin and it just keeps getting better. Thank you for everything you do.
