I understand that it's done when it's done. But is there still any hint to when v4 will be available? Is it still under heavy development or already around the corner? I searched the forum but didn't find anything. I want to avoid to pay for v3 (which is not the prob, I gladly pay to support the dev) but then to have to pay for an upgrade to v4 several weeks later.

Hi 33dd, well every time I make an estimate for that it turns out to be wrong. My current (probably wrong again) estimate would be 4 to 8 months.

I tend to like to have a pretty long beta period to work out bugs before the final release.

I guess I just wait and master the demo till the upgrade plan and associated costs (e.g. free upgrade if purchase of v3 after date xxx and xxx USD for licenses older than that - like available for v2 -> v3) are clear. Or do you already have something in mind?

Hi 33dd, I don't know what the automatic upgrade cutoff date will be yet since it will be based on the final release date and that isn't set yet. But for the regular paid upgrade I expect that to be the same as previous versions, $100.
