About Subdivision to Nurbs.

Hi, I tried to use the script to convert the subdivision surfaces to nubrs surfaces, but some time ago I found a program that instantly converts the subdivision surfaces into nurbs pieces, it's another method and I was wondering if it could be examined in detail, maybe some genius here can make a version for Moi. The interesting difference are the generation of resulting surface, made in big patch, and some time with simple object a clean smooth surface..

Here some old link about this method.

Fusion360 T-Splines is also a good converter from mostly quad meshes to nurbs. There's a free commercial license available as well provided certain criteria are met.

What is your start format ?

Maybe free PolyCAD alone makes that! ;) http://www.polycad.co.uk

Imports STL, WML... (not OBJ existing)

And Export IGES to Moi

not yet found the complete workflow...
but i have yet that in Moi ;) Not Yet surfaces...

The last solution for me was to use Max's subd script and ArtForm's merge command,
to get larger and fewer patches. Or one has to use the free Fusion 360 T-Splines solution.

Stefan
