If you explore the site of Amanda you will find some crazzy things!

Maze Folder, an app by Erik Demaine, Martin Demaine, and Jason Ku that creates crease patterns for any raised maze on a square grid.
Based on the paper Folding Any Orthogonal Maze : http://erikdemaine.org/papers/MazeFolding_Origami5/paper.pdf

After some try :)

- You can draw directly in Moi3D (works with the colors given by default! Black, Blue, Red, Magenta, Green - you must create a new one for Yellow)
- Export as PDF (view Top)
- Open inside the free Gravit Designer https://www.designer.io (View / Fit Canvas)
- Save as SVG File ( file must have small letters for the extension .SVG so .svg :)

You can now use the Origami Simulator Online and Import the file .svg

Here Fold Percent was limited to 60 % (in Origami Simulator itself - advanced Options )

Some Draw Lines in Moi, an edge is selected to verify its color!

You can play with opacity for the angle of folding (Mountain / Valley)

Some cool examples by me :) http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=11549.1

In same spirite but maybe ultra more strong! :)

Make an Origami from any Volume 3D!!! (Not yet tested... because seems not human to make :)

https://drops.dagstuhl.de/storage/00lipics/lipics-vol077-socg2017/LIPIcs.SoCG.2017.34/LIPIcs.SoCG.2017.34.pdf

https://origami.c.u-tokyo.ac.jp/~tachi/software/

Tested but as I suspected volume to 3D is not so evident like the origamisimulator of the first post! :)

But in theory you can rebuild the volume with a ".fold" inside the Simulator! :)

here with another volume
