Drawing a shape, but how?

It is a positive mold for thermoforming plastics.
I have tried many ways, now I am on this result.
I have connected individual surfaces with network and flat surfaces to form a body.
But the body should look even more "grinded".
Does anyone have a better way to get a seamless surface?
Is there a possibility with the methode of subdivision?

The drawing file is attached.

Hi Franz,
I used the script _Pillow32Web.
Rotated a copy 90 degrees.
Joined the outer edge curve to a square and fillet it, then split at the rounded corners.
Hid the next curve in (4 total).
Did Network on all the non-hidden curves.

Thank you for the many suggestions.
There is a lot to try now, unfortunately I have no experience with SubD.
It would be nice if you could simply apply SubD based on an existing surface.
Anything else should be difficult.
The Pillow script with loft is great, but has no solution for the round corners.
Michael's approach with sweep 1002.12 is interesting, but not easy.
If necessary, then bring the flat body with flow to the curved shape.....

I will report if there is a better result in sight than my previous one.

P.S. i only merged your surfaces... and did not start with a fresh modeling technique described
by Michael's links.

Hi Pilou,

i no longer have the link.... But when you look at their Web site
you can check their BBS Forum Link for ArtForm Pro 4.0.

But you have to register at their Forum in order to download the
Software and also register the Software with your Username and
Password.

This is very interesting. There is a translated page that says ArtForm 4.0 was renamed to 3.5. How many developers would reduce/regress their version number?

@Pilou It is not so difficult if you open up a second window in your Browser and use Google Translator... :-)

@chrisd I think they did that because their Enterprise version of ArtForm was one version lower
and they simply unified the numbering scheme for both versions.

@Franz Thank you, maybe you can use it.

Stefan

Hi Pilou,

click on the translated link from Chris... and read carefully the English translation
from the first post. There you will find at the bottom of this post a link to register
and a link to login for the download.

Stefan
