When does purchasing the full version of Moi3D 3 give a free update to version 4?

Hi people

This is my first post on this forum.

In the last few month I have tried the demo of Moi and surfed around in this forum and now I have decided to go for the full version. But at this moment I'm hesitating a bit because if I have to pay for an upgrade in a couple of months I would rather wait for version 4 being officially released.

Michael what is your policy regarding purchasing/upgrading? I can se that there has been a grace periode before when Moi went from version 2 to 3.

If this question has been asked before I apologize but I couldn't find a subject regarding this issue.

Best Regards

Hans

Hi Hans, yes there will be a grace period of a couple of months where if you purchased V3 within a couple of months (exactly how long hasn't been decided yet) of the new release you will get a free upgrade to v4.

But the v4 final release is still a ways out, the beta test period has only recently begun and it will be a while yet (current guess is 6 to 9 months) before the v4 final release is ready so we're not in that grace period time yet.

PS Normally
If you are an owner of the V 3, you will be a beta tester of the V 4!

Hi Michael

Thank you for giving a clear answer. And nice to know how the estimated release plans are for now. I might need to upgrade then ;-).

Best Regards

Hans
