I'm new here :)

I am considering buying MoI, but since there is a new version on the horizon, I don't know what will happen if I buy now, instead of waiting for the new version.

I am a hobbyist, primarily interested in creating objects for 3D printing. I am not in a hurry to buy, since I will have to save my money :).

Is the price for the new version likely to be the same? If I buy now, will I get the next version for free, or will an upgrade fee apply?

Hi MisterAcoustic, the v4 beta releases only started quite recently, it will still be a while before the final v4 release is ready. It's hard to say exactly when, but probably at least 6 months away.

If you purchase within a couple of months of a new release you do get an automatic upgrade but we're not in that time period right now so if you were to purchase V3 right now you would need to pay the upgrade fee to get v4.

I am expecting for prices to stay the same for v4.
