Invisible Layers when opening 3dm from Rhino

Hi,
I have one problem when opening 3dm files from Rhino.
There are several layers that are invisible.
When I click on "Browser" and "Styles" I can see the layers but I can not activate them or make them visible.
Unfortunately the piece of geometry that I need is on one of those layers that do not work.

In Rhino everything works well and I can select the geometry.

Unfortunately I can not save in Rhino into STP or something else becouse I have only a trial.
At the moment I try to find out if I should invest into Rhino or MoI.

I really like the results that MoI delivers, when converting NURBS into Polygons.
But if I can not open the 3dm that my clients send me this is useless for me.

Did anyone had similar problems with 3dm files from Rhino?

Hi,

If I remember, block instances or polygonal data it wont show in Moi, maybe it's this.

Hi Muha, yes it's likely what Marc writes above where your object is a block instance or mesh object. If it's a block instance you'll need to use the ExplodeBlock command in Rhino on it to convert it into a regular object before MoI will be able to see it. If it's a mesh object then it's a different type of data than what MoI works with.
