common chamfer problem

as I've noticed it's problematic on concave/convex edges to make an uniform chamfer as blending those 2 together !

Hi Cemortan, so unfortunately that's just how Chamfers are set up to work in CAD programs in general, they're defined by offset distances of each of the surfaces the edge being chamfered belongs to and that produces the kind of result you are showing there. You should see the same thing in other CAD programs as well.

If you chamfer all the edges by selecting the whole object rather than just the upper ring, then there will be corner juncture patches where chamfers or fillets of different widths collide into each other like this:
