License question

Hi all,

Occasionally I use the program in my place of work, but I do not want that if I leave someday, any other person who replace me will use it. I have seen that in the "AppData \ Roaming \ Moi" path there is a license file, but when I delete it I can continue using the program normally.

Does the license file serve for anything?
How can I prevent anyone else from using the program if I leave work?

Thank you.

Hi Asticles, the license information is actually stored in 2 places, just in case the AppData folder has been set to be read-only. The other place is in the system registry, you can remove that one by running regedit.exe and going to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Moi - inside there will be an entry named moi_v3_license.key which holds the same information as the file in AppData. Right click on it and delete it and then with both the AppData file and the reg key removed that should do it.

For MoI v4 I've changed this so that it only writes the registry one if the file write failed.
