buckyball

Is there a scientific way of making a buckyball in MoI? I sort of succeeded with a 5 and 6 sided polygon, but only by eyeballing when rotating them along an edge, so that 2 sides of a 6 sided polygon more ore less touched when rotating them around the 5 sided polygon edge. In this way there are always 3 points on each vertice and the object can never be made solid.

any clues?

thanks,

wim

Hi wim, try some of the stuff from here:
http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=3340.2

A couple of links there show the technique for getting a rotation of 2 adjacent polygons along their edges so they touch exactly.
