Hi eric, sorry no the MoI v4 beta won't be able to read Rhino v6 files. Right now I'm not sure when that will happen, the OpenNURBS v6 SDK that I would need to do it hasn't been released yet.

You should still be able to use the MoI v4 and Rhino v6 betas in combination with each other but you'll need to save out from Rhino as a Rhino v5 or earlier .3dm format.

Hi Michael,
Yes, I have been doing that with V3 successfully. I switch to Rhino for rendering (and I use it for dimensions and text as well).
MoI keeps the materials intact when I do have to switch back and forth .. at this point Octane is my 'goto' render software and and the Rhino plug in works well for me, though my rendering techniques are not well polished.
Looking forward to Beta 4 with bated breath.
cheers,
eric
