Hello MG
is there a way to identify Control\Thriough point, corner points, missmatches etc that cause irregularities on surfaces?
Mostly I can figure things out easy enough by "Show Points". However, on complicated compound curvature surfaces, I have been forced to reconstruct the whole thing to fix the problem. ( yet still not obvious why the original went wrong.)
a script or fiction to display an overall regularity of the underlying construction... STRESS-MAP for a better term.
Or is this a MOI V5 wish list thing?

Hi Ivan, it's hard to answer without seeing an example. Do you have a file that has one of these complicated compound curvature surfaces so I can get a better idea?

Hi Ivan,
There probably wont be a way to do it on a "Surface". but there is a command written that will do it on "curves". (Attached zip. I don't remember who wrote it for credit. It wasn't me.)




So you could use this with extracting isocurves and running a curvature analysis on them.

There is an original one that doesn't add the "points" to the result, if you want that one instead.
