Weird Draw curve/Freeform/Through points

I noticed this when trying to get my head around the Points node.
Served only to confuse me further!
You can replicate from scratch by drawing four circles and then a Freeform/Through points curve starting at bottom left (in Top view) bottom right, top left and finishing at top right.
The attached file shows cylinders for ease of seeing that the Right view apes the 3D view and the other views don't.
Most interestingly, bringing the 3D view close to horizontal snaps the shape to that shown in the Top view but the Right view stays as was.
Is this known behaviour?
Mike.
Should have mentioned that I'm running MoI 3.0 on Windows 10 Pro latest version with an AMD Radeon HD 7800 graphics card.

Hi Mike, if you zoom out a little bit in the Top view you should see it then draw correctly.

It's the same display glitch as described here:
http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=7590.3

I may try to get this fixed up for v4, but it may be difficult to fix without negatively impacting performance somewhat for all curves, that's the reason why I haven't messed with it yet.

I note that the Front view appears incorrect whatever the zoom, and the Right view is right at some zooms and not others.
Is the 3D view the most reliable (though not 100% so)?

Hi Mike,

I'm not seeing that - over here if I zoom out the front view it shows correctly there:

Well this particular bug only happens if you have a curve made up of 4 control points that's being displayed on screen in an exactly symmetrical zig-zag "S" shape. It's more difficult to trigger in the 3D view because due to the angled view and perspective projection there it's less likely to have the exact problem shape in 2D screen space. It doesn't really mean the 3D view is more reliable than the others under normal circumstances.

If you add a point to the curve it should also avoid the glitch as well.
