Hi Marco, I guess the thing that would concern me is that once you make a place "alive" it also has to be monitored because various problems like flame wars and spammers also go along with that. So that might mean more work for me to do on an ongoing basis.

Maybe another possibility could be to have a "WIP" topic group in the forum.

Yes. It's a simple and good idea.

It's not more simple to write WIP in the start title of each "Personnal Thread"
against a general thread who will be speedy enormous and very difficult to explore?

Why difficult ?

I think that a WIP section should by not like every other topic in the forum, but instead a simple and easy container
where put all renderings and wips.

All in one place.

And if you want to make search you can always use the "search" feature of the forum with advanced mode.

In the case of individual "WIP" thread
When an artist update something to its Wip, it's appears automatically on the head list!
So you know the name of the subject, so you know if you want to see it or not the progress!
That is not the case of a general "Thread"! ;)

As I said I much prefer "all in one place" but this is a very personal opinion.

If that newly created "WIP" group will be not used by anyone I will ask Michael to delete it from forum.
