I don't see it - but i had a curious thing : export as obj, then export again as obj saturates my memory!

i exported your model from MoI as NGons and it shows up in Silo 2.3.1 properly.
I can see no artifacts.

It imports ok as an obj to simlab. Exported as quads and tri's.

Hi Lordfox, some programs can get confused with handling complex n-gons (polygons with more than 4 sides). Usually that looks kind of like you're describing with triangles leaking outside the shape.

If you run into that you should try using the "Export: Quads & Triangles" option at export time from MoI, that will triangulate any n-gons in MoI instead of the triangulation happening in the other app.

it is strange that you had this problem, when importing into Silo.
Did you used the latest version of Silo and MoI?
