Is there someune out there who knows how to built such a charming shape
as the attached in MOI ? The surface and also the spiral as Curve ?

Well I found this object generated by a formula but analyzing it it looks like it is
just a 5 sided star - like curve rotated and twisted aroung another circle ...

Upload 3dm shows "internal error" so I just attach a screenshot . As I found it in "math modeller§ I thought it could be generated only this way but as I said it seem to be pretty simple to build "without math"

Tom, may I suggest the ToroidalKnots script?
With your choice of sweep?

It looks like it has some variable radius also?
