I believe there were 3 versions:

Cubify Design: just 3D modelling for $50
Cubify Invent: 3D modelling, drawing, assemblies: $200
Geomagic Design: all the above plus sheet metal, BOMs, global parameters, direct editing, configurations, surfacing, meshes, 3D printing configurator and imports and exports (numerous) for about $2500.

Alibre will probably return to a typical 3 version system but with a bit more balance.

Marco, this is in an 'unknown' state at the moment. 3D Systems made a proper balls up of all their software acquistitions and things weren't going well. Sometime back they discontinued the Cubify brand, for whatever reason.

I would assume that that the Alibre crowd will return order to the chaos and bring back the original three versions i.e Personal Edition, Professional and Expert. PE was quite cheap, somewhere between $50 to $100 dollars of I recall correctly. Give it time.
