So something like this to get started:



Then using Loft with Loft style = "Loose" :




You probably want to make it somewhat extended at the top so you can intersect it with a cone. You can build the cone by drawing a line and using Construct > Revolve, with end caps turned off. Then do a Trim between the cone and the body:

Thank you Michael!

Sure wish strategies and techniques of Nurbs modeling were even more available for new users like myself.
I do like this approach to modeling forms like the Milk jug. I believe one would achieve a more accurate result this way, provided one understood the modeling procedure better.
