Anyone know how I should approach modeling the milk jug?

Hi Mike, probably initial steps would be to ignore the handle at first and focus on building the whole main body. Get some section curves set up and then use Loft possibly with Loft style = "Loose".

You probably want to make it somewhat extended at the top so you can intersect it with a cone. You can build the cone by drawing a line and using Construct > Revolve, with end caps turned off. Then do a Trim between the cone and the body:

Sure wish strategies and techniques of Nurbs modeling were even more available for new users like myself.
I do like this approach to modeling forms like the Milk jug. I believe one would achieve a more accurate result this way, provided one understood the modeling procedure better.
