export scene as a CSV file

Hi!
Don't know if it has been discussed before but is there a script available to enable the scene to be exported as a CSV file?
For example modelling a kitchen and exporting the details of the individual objects (eg, wall cabinets, bases, handles, other fitting etc to a create a Bill of Materials)
