Is it possible to read out the point number of a curve
in the browser ?

I think thats a variable Tom, because a curve doesnt have points "on it"....

Well, this curve has "6 points" which I don't think is what you were referring to? Unlike "Rebuild" command using "Number of points". but then that changes back also, after the command.

Hi Tom, currently there isn't any way to see the number of control points in a curve but that is something I want to add in the future on some kind of "extended properties" type dialog.

Actually I guess there is one roundabout way you could get the count now, if you have edit points turned on if you select one point and then do Ctrl+A to select all points you can then use Copy/Paste to duplicate the points as individual point objects which will be selected and the properties panel will show the number of point objects that are selected. Then use Undo or Delete to remove the point objects.

Burrman I meant a display in the browser´showing how of how many points a curve is built up from.
I´ll use the way suggested by David to get the number. Thank you both !
