Export Closed Curves to Inkscape? Mine are exploding!

Sorry to spawn a new thread on the topic, but when I export closed curves to Inkscape in an .ai file they are being exploded. Is there a known way to export without this happening? I'm doing this for a laser cutter and I need the curves to stay joined!

Thanks,
-FDP

Just tested it with a large and more complex closed curve and it stays closed in Inkscape.

Inkscape 0.91 with UniConvertor 1.1.5 and MoI 3.1 under OS X.

Regards
Stefan

Hi FDP, which version of Inkscape are you using? Also can you post a 3DM model file with the curve that is not being closed in Inkscape? Another thing is you might try PDF format and see if that helps any.
