Blend Construction Lines

Blend people,

Quick question... Should I be expecting flowing construction lines when creating a Blend Surface?

I noticed I am missing some edges, which could prevent me from running a chamfer across my whole object per say.

Bests,

-J

Maybe Construct / Curves / Iso / U ?

Better if you can post your 3dm file! :)

Hi Berube, that's just how Blend is designed to work, it tries to make one smooth surface if possible, treating a tangent series of input edges as if it were one long continuous curve.

I don't think you'd be able to put a chamfer through that area you show anyway since you can only chamfer sharp edges, you can't put a chamfer in a spot where surfaces are smooth where they touch each other.
