Hi all. I'm looking to buy MoI to create models for a UE4-based VR game project. I see I can buy direct from the site here, but there seem to be some other resellers out there on the web too. Is there a list of legit resellers or is it best just to buy through the purchase link right here on the site?

Unless you can find it on sale - or a coupon - I'd suggest buying from the source, in this case it's one person - which would probably be most supportive as opposed to going through a re-seller who'll take their commission.

I can tell you that I have searched diligently for a sale on Moi, and if you found a sale - even a black friday one, it would be a fluke.

Thanks for the response. Buying at source sounds good to me. I had a brief play with it and was really impressed back in v2 beta days but never had a reason to justify the price (no project to use it for).

I just need to get the trial to confirm my export to UE4 path (I have particular accuracy and scaling needs) then I'll be happy to support Michael. MoI and his attitude to both it and this community is amazing.

Hi Morat, I'm sorry I don't have a list of resellers set up at the moment, but I haven't ever seen it for sale by any fake resellers so it's pretty unlikely that any of ones you saw were bad. If you want to double check with me just let me know the particular reseller you want to use, you can e-mail me at moi@moi3d.com .

It doesn't really make any difference if you order it from a reseller or directly from here, except for someone who isn't in the US it tends to be better to order from a reseller in their own country so it's easier to communicate with them.

There wasn't a huge amount of enthusiasm here to deliver an OPTIONAL toolkit, however, I modded-out the interface with all the scripts myself - <sniffle sniffle>.
There's a lot of gold outside the standard Moi3d, however you need to forage in these locations - get busy unzip & copy & paste:

Much of this is thanks to the 'old boy network' on board here - when they're not playing Parchesi - they're usually collecting scripts & shortcuts, or making nodes.
