Hi Michael!

It would be a litle proble, I can not use the fillet command in this cases:
-rear view mirror
-head light

What would be the cause of problem. maybe the geometry??? I dont dont know.

And What about the concave fittng (fillet) for example: steel joint?

HI Andras,

Picture1= Offset/ShellCommand (ev.Option/Flip), after use BooleCommand/Union

Filet problem II (head light), see result, when object is Solid.

Example head light, cut from SolidBox

make attention to your geometry,

Hi Eddi!

There is a diffrent between your example file and my MOI files.
You have "Cap ends" but I have not "Cup ends". Why?

I realised that the projected curves have not "Cup end".
is it would be a bug?

Hi Andras,

> You have "Cap ends" but I have not "Cup ends". Why?

The "Cap ends" option will be hidden if there is not at least one closed and planar profile curve.

So possibly the points of your profile curve have been disturbed slightly in z so that they are not flat planar curves, or they are not quite all the way closed.

Ah, well probably these projected curves are not planar - that's why no cap ends option for them.

At some point in the future I would like to try to automatically cap more complex ends, but it will be a while before that will be possible.

Ok,
Here very simple examples for "cap ends", (results surface only)
Useful or not`?, possible in conjunction with other Commands

(StraightSnapON, ObjectSnapON)
TrimCommand__Add trim points__Done__select new edges__use BlendCommand "value 0"
(observe seam, there must trimpoint get set, other trimpoint opposite)

TrimCommand__Add trim points (4points added)__Done__select new edges__use NetworkCommand (observe seam)

two trimed edges + line__LoftCommand used

SweepCommand used__edges is profil__middle line is rail (ShowPointsON)

__SweepOption End: PointyEnd__after "Done"

__Top most point selected__ moves to middle
