Hi tech, unfortunately no it won't. Apple made changes to El Capitain that broke MoI version 2.52 and the original version 3.0 release on both El Capitain and Sierra. I have released a MoI version 3.1 update that will run ok there, so you should plan to upgrade to MoI v3 when you do the Sierra update as well.

Also one other note, on Sierra MoI v3.1 can only run from the /Applications folder, not any location as previously. So you need to move it there in order for it to run ok, that's due to changes Apple made in how unsigned applications run.

thanks for your answer! I've got just one additional question: will there be a new major release during the next 6 month?

Hi Tech, probably not within that time frame. MoI v4 still needs to be in beta release for a while before it will go to final release and the first beta release is a couple more months off yet. I guess it could be possible for the final release to be out in 6 months but it will likely be a bit longer than that. It's difficult to know for sure.
