Hi,

I remember about a quick trim or scissors command, user points a one place on curve and its splits it there.
I don't know if a script had beed done, I'm looking through my files and can't find anything.

something like :
-Trim-->Add trim points-->Wait for input (1)-->Keep both sides.

Any curve can make that! ;)
I don't see more speedy! :)

Just use Boolean Diff if you want 2 volumes or Trim if you want 2 surfaces resulting!

You can add points on the curve for deform it as you want!

You have the option Keep or Not object Triming or Differencing! (betwwen 2 Volumes or Volume and Surface)

Hi Marc, I think we talked about adding it but it hasn't been implemented yet. It will probably need a couple more things exposed to the script engine for being able to get the click point so it's something I'll be able to add for V4 but I don't think it will be feasible for the current version, sorry.

Hi Pilou, I was referring to a one click operation to trim on a line or curve.

Thanks Michael, that's why I didn't find it !
